misconceptions,
the title has nothing to do with this post..misconceptions is just the part of my bio project that i'm on right now. i have linda's song stuck in my head. "i cannot hush..somethingsomethingsomething MUSH." i have to finish this project so i can look up the recipe for nicole's cookies.
gawsh. i wish i had been there last night. on the ride home. and waiting for the imaginary awards ceremony. those two places and that is it. i wanted to be there for kev and alyssa and nicole. nicole was soo busy trying to deal with larry that sometimes i think she judges herself too harshly. everyones all KUHBLEHBEH today. i wish there was more weekend. no, i don't agree that it went by fast. but it did go by. and i'm afraid that's how this next week will go by. i will look forward to musical because it is basically becoming my life but..awyssa and nicowwe won't be there. which makes me sad. last night i was down in the dumps. and the bumper sticker today described it perfectly. i SO look forward to having friends. when i'm not with people, i get paranoid. not sam or tom papadopalous paranoid likeASDFGHJKL; i just get *whimper* kuhblehbleh. *whimper* paranoid. they did that to me. ever since the end of eighth grade. i worry that i'm doing something wrong. or i'm going too far. or they honestly don't like me all that much. or that i'm lagging something along much longer than it needs to be. or i'm being TOO analytical. or TOO deep or TOO shallow or ...something like that.
and it's them. mostly her. she changed me that way. she made me forget how to be me. and now..i feel like such a floater. i float around and i be a friend. but do i have them? i can't tell when a person is being fake or real anymore. i can't tell if they mean it when they say that they love me. i can't tell if i look like i'm being over obsessive. but if i'm too timid. then i'm not me. i am not a timid person. i am shy though. there's a difference. people look at shy people and think QUIET. but me? i'm just afraid of judgment around people i don't really know. it's not even i'm only "me" and loud and such when i'm with my friends and that is all. it's that i feel awkward after i do something me-like or loud or semi-obnoxious because of the judgment. i hate those who judge. kinda weird considering i spend every weekend for 5 months straight being judged and ranked on my ability to do what most people fear more than snakes and death itself, right? not right. criticism i can take. being judged on something i have prepared to be judged on..i can take.
but judged on being me, when i don't even know who me is right now? that i can't take.
who am i? what have i done with me? what is comforting to me? imagining. imagining i am in england right now. in a small cafe/bookshop nobody really knows about. a light drizzle with a slight chance of sunshine is beckoning outside the window. i sit there and sip my drink and read a book. my phone buzzes, alerting me of a text. i casually flip it open and smirk. i dog-ear the book, shut it, stick it on the shelf the perfect distance away from my chair. i wave to the workers,all of whom i know by name and walk outside. i travel to the tube station where i catch a ride to a hidden artsy district. i walk past a bakery and smile inside as i take the lift next to it. i ride up, chatting with the man working the buttons and leave a $3.70 tip. as i always do. i enter a cozy, yet glamorous apartment. i shed my outer clothing to reveal a comfy sundress and cozy hand-made cardigan. i plop down on the couch and watch re-runs or movies with my friends. people who i know in my heart are going to be there for me. we watch and drink tea and make plans about staying in a castle for a month or so. we confirm our flight "home" to new york for the next day and confirm our flight home to the uk the following week.
is this real life?

can it someday be?

i am so nervous right now. im not even doing nfl and i'm a wreck. i know fohshurez they gonna rock it. but i also know if alyssa doesn't advance, she'll be wreck because she'll have disappointed herself. and if nicole doesn't...i don't even know. nicowwe sad is one of those sights in life that hurts me. lyssa being sad makes me want to cry on the outside and comfort her. nicowwe being sad makes my inner being want to cry and reach out to her but i feel i can't.
both of them are two of the most terrible things to exist on this earth. and then dan&charlie. dan's been through so much change lately..speech is such a variable in his life. but at the same time it's a constant. something is he awesome at. charlie...charlie's going through so dang much. i want him to get this. sooo badly.
so my nerves are shot and i have to spend all day tomorrow at musical. staring at my phone. waiting for updates. *dies*

stole title from nicole. mine means different. i have not started the REMAINDER of my homework yet. most of it i finished at school. *CLICHE ALERT* life is such a roller coaster. i cannot even fathom. i get into those moods where everything is just sucky and then i'll get a text from alyssa or i'll talk to nicole on the way to fourth hour or english will be funny or world history will make me laugh(though not much since we changed seats. gr.) or in algebra SOMETHING always happens. and then there's musical. and rarely will something from musical bring me down. "ESTHER IS SUCH A HOT NAME. no sam no. ARRIGONI LOOK IT UP." *events ensue* oh gawsh. and that was even before practice actually started. then relevant just inserted joy into my life. and then i came home and ate clementines and didn't do homework and talked with friends and am going to watch either 27 dresses or the prestige and life feels good right now. and even thought it didn't feel good yesterday or the day before that and today at some points there are always THOSE people that will be there. THOSE people that will make you say "MADE MY DAY." and those people who you just want to be there for the rest of your life. so there's my semi-happy thoughts intermingled with my day today. yeah. i think im gonna grab some more clementines and read catcher in the rye. sound goood to me. :)

so obvious, tears are. people know when you are about to let them slide down your cheeks. even before it happens. your face gets red your eyes get wide, tired,and the worst kind of sparkly. they know when it's happening. our eyes are waterfalls. people know when it's happened. salty streaks line our face. you can see it. you can smell it. you can feel the tension. yet, you don't do anything about it? k.thanks. appreciated by all. really. it is. they'll just rest here. dwindling under my nose. being there as an ever-present reminder. that no one was here to wipe them away.

- how could have thought this? why do i STILL miss running space golf to bucca di beppo. and having adventures from red robin to target. why do i wish i knew where my $1 bunny ears are? why do i still tell the story of the blue alien and why do i still regret it all? why do they haunt my memories? and why cant i just live in the present? and why can't it be commonplace for people to be like, "we're getting close to becoming best friends and these are the kind of things we can say/do right now." or"you are allowed to call me this nickname and i won't be like THATS OUR THING." or " i don't think this friendship can go past the point of this activity. k.thnx.bai."

confusion. tears not coming to terms. gah. i'm jumping too fast. i don't know whether to slow down and sit back or leap in and enjoy the bumpy ride. i hate this. i despise right now. i dislike the reality that something is going so well and then BAM. alyssa texted me a couple days ago, "your train of thought just crashed coming out of the station." yeah well. my life just crashed coming out of the station. 4 more notecards to do for bio. i'm a mess. i want everyone to be asleep already. so i could bundle up, sit on the front porch and relax. but thinking. gee. that's a hard one. it's one of those times i really don't want to think. just because, i'm so NOTSURE about my life right now. i don't have the right things to say anymore. i don't know when i'm being too analytical or too young or too out-of-place. there is no comfort. i'm a mess. we were talking about the giver at movie night on friday. pause. am i allowed to call in movie night? am i PART of that? am i at a liberty to delve into these people's lives? was i initiated? what HAPPENED?! unpause i guess. i was the only one, i believe, who wanted to be the giver. i was the only one who wanted to carry the weight of that on my shoulders. and i'm trying to look inside myself to see if that's true. and it is. i wouldn't want to be that black and white person. the same. the same as everyone else. no thoughts. no feelings. i would rather have nobody to love, than not even have the capability of loving them. i would rather have no one but myself to imagine with then look forward to the age when i get to take the ribbons out of my hair. i would rather be stuck with no one believing me if i said anything, than having nothing to believe in. i don't think people know how much it sucks. people ask and i say,"we stopped talking. i don't really know what happened." and they don't understand how hard is it not knowing what happened. sure i know that she has done this before. i know that. but it can't be the same. i'm not him. we stopped being friends with him because he drank, and wouldn't listen and didn't care about..anyone. but i'm straight-edge. i try to listen and sometimes i talk too much sure but i was ALWAYS there for you. i will ALWAYS be there. and i care. i care too much and that's my problem. i care and i don't know how to measure if a person cares for me. this blog has been so fake. except for hiawatha. because hiawatha can never be fake. gahh. my train of thought is trailing. i left it at the begin. i left it with my hurting heart.
linda says i'm a hypochondriac. i'm not,really. except when it comes to times like this. because i swear on all my worldly possessions that my heart hurts right now. why can't things be simple? or why, like in the giver, can't everyone else be simple? and i be complicated? because people don't relate to me. i try to be relatable and it just doesn't work sometimes. but other people are complicated too. and that creates doubt. it's the worst. i hate doubt. it fills my heart, mind,soul. it's full of doubt. inclusion versus exclusion. doubt.doubt.doubt. i find so much comfort in movies and books. because there is no doubt. larry brought up "where the red fern grows." the dogs die. there is no doubt in death. i read the book and there was no doubt. sure the boy would be upset, because those dogs had significance. things that don't have significance should not be things at all. there should be no doubt.
